I like to use a George Forman electric grill. You can also use a pan on the stovetop. Cook tempeh bacon for a few minutes on each side. Spread a thin layer of Vegenaise on one slice of bread (or both, I won't judge). Layer bacon, lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and cheese. Top with other slice of bread and grill/toast for a few minutes on each side, or until desired golden hue is reached.

I like to cut mine before eating to admire the beauty. My husband chooses to dive right in.
Notes:
Have fun playing with the ingredients and combinations. Homemade sandwiches are often overlooked, but are a great way to eat real, eat simple, and eat healthy. Add a soup and/or salad to make it a complete meal.
